The history of motorcycling is kept alive and well in Sturgis, South Dakota at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame. Located on the corner of Main & Junction Streets in downtown Sturgis, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame offers comprehensive and informative exhibits. The museum showcases nearly 100 unique and remarkable motorcycles dating back to 1910. “The motorcycles in the museum are on loan from all over the nation. We are so fortunate to have so many great friends who let us share their treasures with the motorcycling world,” said Executive Director Christine Paige Diers.
The museum’s Hall of Fame recognizes individuals or groups who have made a long term positive impact on the motorcycle community. The Hall of Fame honors motorcycle legends, celebrities and others who have contributed to the sport and the lifestyle. A new class of inductees is honored each year at an induction breakfast held the Wednesday morning of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Over the years, the Hall of Fame has honored over 100 individuals and groups for their contributions.
Open year round, seven days a week, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame also offers memberships. Visit www.sturgismuseum.com for additional information.
